Come join Kappa Psi Epsilon as we enter our seventeenth year and: “Cultivate Your BEAUTY from Within”
Forming a sisterhood that promotes the Pilipino culture had been a long time dream for a group of womyn at California State University Long Beach. The dream turned into reality when one womyn, Gayle Romasanta, took the initiative to unite these womyn. On March 28th, 1996 Kappa Psi Epsilon was born. Since then it has expanded to San Francisco State University, University of California Davis, University of California Los Angeles, and Sacramento State University. For over seventeen years, Kappa Psi Epsilon has become a movement of womyn that continue to hold onto the original dream of our Founding Mothers. We aspire to make the dream into a reality by striving for academic excellence, working & assisting the community, involving our hearts & minds into understanding our culture, growing & enriching ourselves in sisterhood, and creating social networks & exchanges. Through our works, we seek to understand what it means to resist oppression, never cease to struggle for freedom, and most of all feel the beauty of the revolution of self. With all that we do, we are on a constant search to find our inner strength.——-What Kappa Psi Epsilon has to offer you:- Opportunities to learn about the Philippine culture- Events to create positive change in the community - Bonds in sisterhood & women solidarity- Interactions with other organizations & groups- Fundraisers & social events*Please note that though our organization is Pilipino based, we welcome women of all ethnicities*——-Interested in getting a glimpse into what our Sisterhood is about & celebrating us all as womyn?
